It’s not adversity, it’s an adventure!
How can we navigate change with joy and resilience?
How do we adapt, bond, and stay productive, when things are heavy or uncertain?
These are the questions I’m here to help you answer. As an award-winning entertainer, survivalist from Disocery Channels Naked and Afraid, and speaker, I empower people to face challenges with a sense of adventure and purpose. And, I do it all with the humor and heart only a retired comedian and trained counselor can pull off.
Drawing from my personal experiences—overcoming a broken back, PTSD, extreme survival situations, and navigating countless life changes—I’ve developed a unique framework to help people Gear up, Get out, and Thrive. This approach blends the simple survival mindset our ancestors and even modern military rely on with modern-day psychology and research. Best of all, it reminds you that life is meant to be a daring adventure that lights you up, not something you grit through.
Whether I’m giving a keynote, hosting a workshop or retreat, or navigating my own life, I blend inspirational adventure and highly practical everyday tools to help balance the grit and grace a joyfully resilient life demands.
Want to know how my journey to Joyful Resilience and being dubbed “the Joyful Warrior” (before Kamala Harris coined the term) all happened? Book me to speak, or get on my mailing list.
Stepping into an adventure mindset inspires creativity, action, and joy.
